These rules and regulations are established in accordance with the objectives of the Weimaraner Club of NSW Inc and are set forth as a guideline to protect and advance the interests of the Weimaraner by maintaining a high breeding standard and by encouraging sportsman like competition at dog shows, field trials, obedience trials and tracking tests. Adherence to these rules is strongly recommended.
Club Competition for Perpetual Trophies
1. Show Dog/Bitch of the year - The Huxtable Memorial Trophy
2. Show Dog of the year
3. Show Bitch of the year
4. Junior Dog/Bitch of the year
5. Puppy of the year
6. Obedience Dog/Bitch of the year
7. Field Dog of the year ( Utility Field trials )
8. Retrieving Dog/Bitch of the year ( non slip retrieving trials )
9. Tracking Dog/Bitch of the year
Please note: All these awards are Club competitions only, and in no way count towards Championship awards or titles as issued by the RNCC.
Rules and Regulations for Club Competitions.

The Weimaraner Club of NSW Inc will nominate 15 championship shows as our pointscores every calendar year, Within a period of January to November.
Dog/Bitches entered in the competition for Junior of the year cease to be eligible immediately they reach twenty four ( 24 ) months of age. This does not preclude them from carrying on competition for show Dog/Bitch of the year.
Dogs/Bitches entered in the competition for Puppy of the year are ineligible from the age of three ( 3 ) months up to twelve ( 12 ) months, This does not preclude them from carrying on competition for Junior or Show Dog/Bitch of the year. The best eight ( 8 ) scores from ten ( 10 ) shows out of the fifteen (15 ) nominated championship shows will determine the result of the competition.
Dogs/Bitches the ten ( 10 ) best scores from the nominated fifteen ( 15 ) championship shows will determine the result for the competition of:
1. Show Dog/Bitch of the year - The Huxtable Memorial Trophy
2. Show Dog of the year
3. Show Bitch of the year
4. Junior Dog/Bitch of the year
In the event of a tied score, a count back system will be used to determine the result. the highest number of Best of Breed wins, Runner-up Best of Breed wins, Challenges or Reserve Challenges ect until we havce a result.
Only those dogs owned by financial members of the Weimaraner Club of NSW Inc will be eligible for inclusion in the competition.

The club secretary keeps records of all pointscore shows and publishes results in the club newsletter.
Announcement and presentation of trophies takes place in December each year.
Should a lapse of membership occur, any scores gained during the lapsed period of membership will be ineligible for inclusion in the club competition.
Obedience Dog/Bitch of the year.
The perpetual trophy is restricted to financial members of the Weimaraner Club of NSW Inc.

Only dogs owned by financial members will be eligible for inclusion in the competition.
Two ( 2 ) qualifying cards from each trial will be eligible.
No more than three ( 3 ) cards can be submitted from the same judge in any one competition.
Novice obedience results are limited to the three ( 3 ) qualifying trials which gave the dog it's companion Dog Title.
The duration of the competition will be from January 1st each year up to and including the last pointscore show in November each year.
All qualifying score cards to be submitted to the clubs secretary by the 30th November of each calendar year.
Photocopies of score cards will be accepted.
All score cards will be returned to the competitor.
